Prior to joining the MICH I was with the Qld Police service for 5 years, I spent 4 years of my Policing career in Mount Isa and I have been lucky enough to travel to all parts of the north-west region. I have completed both my private fixed wing license and my commercial helicopter license and hope to build my aviation hours and experience. |

My most memorable mission was a plane crash in which we were tasked by Aussar to conduct the search, after we located the aircraft we landed and placed an ICP at the scene before returning to Mt Isa to pick up two QFRS officers. We then transported the pilot who had survived the crash back to Mt Isa Base Hospital. It was great for the MICH to work so well with the other emergency services. |

I stared flying in 1986 with AA Company as a mustering pilot in Mount Isa after a few years doing this I moved to PNG and flew for Pacific Helicopters transporting people and equipment into remote work camps around PNG. I flew in PNG for approximately 3 years before starting moving back to Australia and flying for Aeropower were I spent 7 years flying and inspecting power lines as a specialist power line operator. In 2005 I moved back to Mount Isa and starting flying for North Australian Helicopters before joining the Mount Isa Community Helicopter in 2007. |

Most Memorable Mission |
I think my most memorable mission was the plane that crashed just north of mount Isa as this was the first major emergency we had attended in the MICH. It was very interesting watching how all the emergency services work together during these types of incidents. |
